Target Field

Target Field is a modern baseball park located in the historic warehouse district of downtown Minneapolis. It is the home field of Major League Baseball’s Minnesota Twins. Since its opening in 2010, the ballpark has been praised for its fan-friendly atmosphere, sightlines, and the way it seamlessly integrates into the Minneapolis cityscape.

Target Field was designed to replace the Metrodome as the home of the Twins. The effort to construct a new ballpark began in the 1990s and culminated with the opening of Target Field in 2010. The ballpark was designed by Populous (formerly HOK Sport) and built by Mortenson Construction, with a strong emphasis on an outdoor, “Minnesota-friendly” design.
